How to improve your marketing productivity?

July 28, 2021
Marketers' workload is endless. You have to remain on top of so many things all the time: from planning to execution, from team meetings to design and web discussions, etc. You  constantly feel the pressure to multitask, to try to get as many tasks done as possible, so you wouldn't be the bottleneck that hinders the company's growth. But this is not sustainable and will eventually lead to burnout.

We believe that there's another way to achieve your professional goals: without having to sacrifice your personal life, health and sanity. That is why the founder & CEO of Powerful Marketers, Mari-Liis Vaher, set out on the journey of launching a podcast for marketers. The aim of the podcast is to inspire and help marketers to grow personally and professionally in order to feel empowered and equipped to handle any situation they may encounter. On this journey, she posts a short video on a different topic related to marketer’s growth for 100 days in a row inside the Powerful Marketers Community

Here is the overview of the third week:

See the recap of the first week HERE and the second week HERE.

How to use psychology in marketing?

If you want to level up your marketing, you have to understand psychology as it is the science of human behavior and thinking. We as human beings are irrational and emotional which can lead to overthinking, fears, doubts and assumptions. Remember that your mind has to be stronger than your emotions!

How to create a great customer journey?

Sale is not the end of the customer journey, but just the beginning! The customer journey flywheel is an ongoing process that helps you to keep on improving your product, service or process. Nurture your leads with information, help them to make a decision, ask for feedback and use it to improve!

Why should you audit your marketing?

Marketing audit gives you clarity as it helps you to discover problems and loopholes in your current activities or processes. It also shows you what your competitors are doing and it sparks new life and ideas into your marketing strategy. Use the knowledge you get from auditing to strengthen your marketing presence!

how does multitasking affect you?

Multitasking is bad for your brain. It increases your stress level and your work quality suffers. It blocks your creative ideas as you think and act out of a lack of time. As a consequence, you will be less productive and therefore feel less accomplished at the end of the work day. Start focusing instead!

How to stay focused?

Being focused = being happy! When you’re focused, you get things done as you go in-depth with important matters. You also become more creative, and therefore deliver better results. Eliminate distractions and learn how to say "no" to start enjoying a new level of productivity!

How to find inspiration?

Do you feel too busy to be inspired? There's a lot you can do to boost your inspiration level! Start by getting a good night's sleep. Switch up your environment. Learn something new. Start writing down your ideas into a notebook. Try meditation and follow inspirational people. Your outer environment influences your inner world!

why you need to be consistent in marketing?

Whatever you do in marketing, make sure you are consistent! Being consistent allows you to establish awareness, build trust and deliver your services efficiently and profitably. People forget, they are busy and don't pay attention. Through repetition your efforts accumulate and eventually lead to success!
